Vail CO
Vail is the largest resort in the area, but comes with quite the price tag.
Pros:
- Huge amount of terrain to cover, probably would take multiple seasons to hit every run/area of terrain
- Seems to get pounded with the most snow & has more than enough back bowls for everyone to crush
- Has a large center village with shopping and restaurants
Cons:
- Gets tracked out within the first two hours of a pow day
- Good luck finding good free parking, and the paid parking is crazy expensive
- Everything costs a LOT
Conclusion: If your down to wake up at 4 am on a pow day, get some sick first tracks down the bowls. Or are just a high roller and have a lot of cash to spend, this is your place.
