Perhaps one of the best family ski destinations without the extreme crowds that Breck and Vail have. Copper comes along with a very diverse crowd of winter enthusiasts, from professional riders to just learning families.
Pros:
- Has a lot of terrain and is proportionate between the terrain skill levels
- Offers great Cat access back country terrain as an alternative option of traditional ski lift access
- Has an extremely large well maintained terrain park with its own high speed park lift
- Some of the best powder glade trails and an abundance of them so on those killer pow days you can find freshies all day
- Large amount of free parking not too far from lift access
- Offers Park rats and freestyle enthusiasts an excellent camp and training facilities run by the famed Woodward.
- Great fine dining and bars within the village that often have a very fun crowd to go along with it
Cons:
- Limited amount of cheap dining and nearest town is around 15 minutes away
- Lodging within the Copper village is more expensive than some of the other towns near by, so to find cheap lodging one must stay over in Frisco and shuttle to the mountain every morning

Ditch the long lines of other mainstream resorts and find some fresh powder all day long at Copper Mountain or ride with your favorite pros over in the Woodward parks.
