Breckenridge
Breck, possibly the most well known, "scene" mountain.
Pros:
- Large area of terrain to cover, from beginner green runs to double black diamond bowls
- Friendly, family-orientated vibe
- Has a lot of quality places to grab lunch, dinner, or go shopping with the parents or friends in the downtown district
Cons:
- Extremely Crowded destination, On weekends be ready to wait in LONG lines
- Very popular tourist destination, watch out for the kooks on the slopes that have never seen snow until that day
- Free parking requires a "not so awesome" shuttle from a far away lot
Conclusion: If your just starting out but have some friends who live to shred this can be a good place for you guys to go. It has every type of terrain to satisfy your level of experience on snow, just be ready for long lines and the occasional out of control kook on the mountain.
