Beaver Creek CO
Beaver Creek is the less crowded and slightly less expensive Vail. When vail is overflowing with crowds Beaver can be an escape from that all with close to the same offerings.
Pros:
- Extremely high end village and exquisite lodging and dining
- Never seems to be extremely over crowded on the mountain, even on some of the deepest powder days
- Seemingly short lift lines and a large amount of high speed lifts leaving you with the opportunity to get as many laps in as your legs can handle
Cons:
- Farthest resort from the Denver/Boulder Area, almost 30 minutes past Vail
- Less amount of back country bowls compared to surrounding resorts
- Little to none dining and lodging options for the average college budget
Conclusion:
Beaver Creek is a great place for a day trip for some powder if your okay with waking up at 5 am to get there by opening but also a great place for wealthy families to vacation who wish to avoid the crowds of Vail.
